I'm still searching for my purpose in life.
I'm seeking myself, so we can get better acquainted.
I'm looking for the best way to love the people in my life.

Those are my quests, my Holy Grails.

Would you like be famous?

Posted on Jul 11th, 2009 by njabang
This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for July 10, 2009:

I don't have any particular desire to be famous, but I would like to leave some kind of mark on the world. I think everyone wants to be remembered for something good after they depart this world.

What is your relationship toward sleep?

Posted on Jul 11th, 2009 by njabang
This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for July 09, 2009:

Sleep is like a friend I don't visit as regularly as I should. But when I do visit, I often stay longer than I should, and I miss or almost miss important things, like the bus to work or class. I want to have a healthier relationship with this friend...

I wish I could wake up earlier. I think I would be way more productive and peaceful if I did.

What in life are you unsure of?

Posted on Jul 7th, 2009 by njabang
This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for July 07, 2009:

Right now, I'm unsure of where I'm going to live next semester. In general, I'm unsure of what I want to do with the rest of my life. I'm unsure of where I want to live, what my career will be, if I will have children...

I am NOT, however, unsure of who my friends are, and who loves me. That makes it easier to deal with the other uncertainties.

What are you thankful for?

Posted on Jul 5th, 2009 by njabang
This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for July 05, 2009:

Too often, I bemoan the things I don't have. I should take more time to appreciate what I do have. So thank you, Gaia, for this question.

I am thankful for:
-my health
-my family
-my friends
-the fact that I have both parents, both with good jobs who love me very much
-the fact that I have the ability to do whatever it is I want to do because of the opportunities I've been given
-the sky
-good food, especially dumplings
-funny movies
-pretty clothes
-MUSIC (doubly thankful)

if you were a judge, what sort would you be?

Posted on Jul 3rd, 2009 by njabang
This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for July 03, 2009:

I wouldn't like to be a judge. But if I had to be, I think I would be a fair judge. It's hard to tell whether or not a person will change their ways. Some say people never change. I am an optimistic, but I don't think I could base my decisions on whether or not I think the defendant will "never do it again."

I believe in order for our justice system to work, judges should be as objective and impartial as possible, using only the facts, the evidence, and the testimonies to make their decisions.
